Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using UX Fighting Chance, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

2. What UX Fighting Chance is

UX Fighting Chance is an AI-powered portfolio analysis tool. You submit a portfolio URL, our system crawls the pages, and AI models generate a scored report with feedback and recommendations. The service is intended for UX designers who want an objective, hiring-manager-perspective review of their portfolio.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use UX Fighting Chance only in ways that are lawful and consistent with its purpose. Specifically:

• Only submit URLs you own or have permission to analyze. Do not submit URLs belonging to other people or organisations without their explicit consent. Our crawler visits and reads the pages of any URL you submit.
• Do not use the service to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from our platform.
• Do not attempt to circumvent the free-tier limits or access controls.
• Do not submit URLs that host illegal content or that you know to be harmful.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid plans are one-time purchases for a fixed access window (1, 3, 6, or 12 months). There are no recurring subscriptions. Your access expires at the end of the purchased window — your report history remains readable, but you will need to purchase again to run new analyses.

Refund policy: Because the core deliverable — the AI-generated analysis report — is produced and delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds once a paid analysis has been delivered. If you experience a technical failure that prevents your analysis from completing, contact us and we will make it right.

Payments are processed by Stripe. All transactions are subject to Stripe's terms of service.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

The reports, scores, and recommendations generated by UX Fighting Chance are produced by AI models (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT-4o). They represent one perspective — calibrated to common hiring manager expectations — but they are not infallible, and they are not professional career coaching advice.

Use your report as a useful signal and one input among many — not as the final word on your portfolio. We make no guarantees about job search outcomes. AI analysis quality depends on portfolio content being publicly accessible and representative of your actual work.

7. Your content

Your portfolio is your content — we make no claim to it. By submitting a URL for analysis, you grant us a limited licence to crawl and process the content of those pages solely for the purpose of generating your report.

The analysis reports we generate are yours to keep and share. You may share them with employers, mentors, or peers. You may not resell them or present them as the work of another tool or service.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep UX Fighting Chance available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Analyses depend on third-party AI APIs and cloud infrastructure — occasional failures are possible. If an analysis fails due to a system error on our side, we will offer a re-run at no additional cost.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UX Fighting Chance and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, but not limited to, job search outcomes, lost opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated recommendations. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.
